Pushed by the waves blossomed with love
What is there to mine in a miry Lotus-cove?
Once a soul’s light danced into the Aurora
Form you not a fruit of your mind’s desire?

Cem,
No one has the right to change or edit anyone else’s poem, but I’m busting in because otherwise, the end of the poem is senseless
You wrote:
Once a soul’s light danced into the Aurora
Form you not a fruit of your mind’s desire?
I suggest “Form, is this not the fruit of mind’s desire.”
And I deserve 20 floggings for taking a right that was not appropriate.
peace, play,
mickey

To form darling…Do you not form a fruit of your mind’s desire?
Instead of 20 slashes I give you:

Your gift is a superb replacement for 20 lashes. Yes, I guess I do form a fruit of my mind’s desire. But I still think the wording is off somehow to me:
Once a soul’s light danced into the Aurora
Form you not a fruit of your mind’s desire?
Maybe a comma after Aurora would solve any misunderstanding.
It’s very nice communicating with you. My son and his wife live in DC, close to you . . . he is in his 2nd year at Georgetown Law in human rights; his wife just started her master’s at John Hopkins School of Public Policy. Maybe you’ll meet someday.
peace with you, my friend,
mickey
